I Live for One Thing
Wednesday, December 12, 2007
Today, today, I live for one thing...
What are you live for?
Sometimes questions are more powerful than answers.
Ernest Top Ten.... NOT...
Sunday, December 09, 2007
Yes I came up with this idea while walking home.
So apart from my guide to life, there will be this 'Top Ten.... NOT...' to tell everyone more about me, or something, or rather things that I like, should do, should eat blah blah blah, NOT. Ok, get it?
Ok here's an example:
---
Ernest's Top Ten things you should do for a volleyball match.... NOT...:
Number 10 thing you should NOT do is to: Forget to bring your jersey.
Cos really, you really feel dumb.
Number 9 thing you should NOT do is to: Burn your jersey.
Cos really, you LOOK really dumb.
Number 8 thing you should NOT do is to: Forget to bring your shoes.
Cos you might just end up telling your dad to send the shoes to Hougang Mall and he may hear it as Heartland Mall.
Number 7 thing you should NOT do is to: Drink Red Bull.
Now look, I have nothing against Red Bull and am not trying to harm their sales. But I've tried it, and you tend to get high, like seriously high.
Number 6 thing you should NOT do is to: Feel sleepy before the match.
Trust me, its better to be drunk than to be sleepy. Cos if your playing badly while your drunk, you don't know it; but if you play when your sleepy, you just know that you are playing badly and you just want to go sleep.
Number 5 thing you should NOT do is to: Not know where the entrance to the school is.
The last time I went to Xin Min, I was laughing at Gary for bringing us one big round. Today, I confidently brought them the other way (or so I thought) that was shorter.
Number 4 thing you should NOT do is to: Have just the right number of players.
Cos lose one, and its time to go home.
Number 3 thing you should NOT do is to: Be a referee.
Cos its the only profession where you are always wrong.
Number 2 thing you should NOT do is to: Bring your own yellow card into the match.
Cos the big guy's got the real thing. [You know, I think we should change the Red card to an EZlink card cos it really suits the meaning]
And.....
The Number 1 thing you should NOT do is to: Lose.
Cos then, you run the risk of not winning.
---
Ok do you sort of get it? Well its not like you understood any other part of my blog anyway.

Goodbye mrbrown
Thursday, December 06, 2007
It official, I have given up on mrbrown (and its mrbrown, not Mr Brown or Mrbrown).
Yes indeed, mrbrown has always been a great local podcaster that goes all out to show that if you really have nothing better to do in your life, you can always rely on the garmen to help you lose your job.
In recent times, mrbrown's podcast have seemed to lose the usual flair and funny that I used to look forward to everyday. Of course in recent times things have started to die down and the tur-kua and mai hums seem to pass by our ears like the cool zephyr that brushes without causing you to notice it at all.
And so his tarradiddle shall bother my ear no more, at least for now; whilst I take some time to listen to other streams of knowledge like 'MSNBC Countdown with Keith Olbermann' and '60 Minutes Podcast - The Full Broadcast' which is by far the only podcast that makes me listen the whole way through.
Well so long mrbrown, perhaps our paths will cross next elections... or GST hike, or pay rise, or ERP hike, or Bus Fare hike, or... ok u get the point.
I_AM Revisited

I guess youth camp deserves a better post.
Oh well, I went to church on time and said goodbye to $55 dollars before going to the Berkman Audi. There I found out that I was in the Best group in the camp: Fishers. Ok so played a lot of sian games and got arrowed for SK to carry stuff.
Yes then we reached camp and I really can't remember anything. OHHH oh yes we had lunch, and Fishers kena arrow the SK as well. Yes, then we played angel and mortal. I got Shiyun as my mortal and Franco was my angel; look sway does not do justice to the situation. I did not get $0.20 when I needed, and had to keep making milo.
Ok yes, I guess God has a plan for me and I think he is like showing it to me but I'm still very scared of it, to be honest. Had lunch with Peen and his wife just now and I think, like he said, that I still need time to prepare myself yea.
Well we had great food. I like gained 2 kg. We had to cook our lunch on the second day. Franco was like: "Oil, more Oil, more please, Oil, Oil." Look there's a global shortage of oil bro...
There were the sick games like chicken captain ball.
Yea it was a great camp lah...

Yes LAM indeed.
Ok LAM originates from the printing on the camp shirt which looks like I_AM.
Camp was good. Food was good. Games were good. Worship was good. Fellowship was good. God is good.
So anyway I did not take as many photos as I wanted to cos like I did not take any photos at all. Ha. Apart from that I also learned to talk like Franco (Whose name I can't pronounce without it sounding like Fransansisco) ya. And I guess there was so much about life that I learned and that there really is so much more to learn.
I guess I'm like really tired and so like I always go: Kun Liao.
First Days Are Always the Hardest, Part II
Tuesday, November 27, 2007
Ok, I don't know if its going to be the hardest but I'm going for Youth Camp for the First time in my life.
Yes, four solid days away from all the noise of life after O levels: no computer, no training, no running, no spiking, no juniors offering you postcards asking you to go for some light of the world event. Yes, just youth camp and me and everyone else.
I have another 2 hours to pack before VJ training and I have not even found my bag. Yea, its a little late cos WK asked me to write for Victoriana, which I took 2 hours to write so don't expect the greatest of writings, help my sis put together an Art folio and watch 2 hours of Ellen.
I'm going for Youth Camp tomorrow, the food had better be good.
